Abengoa México Transmisión Lines and Substations

In the State of Chihuahua, Abengoa México, S.A. de C.V. Will construct more that one hundred kilometers of transmission lines and a 230kv and a 115kv substation – 133.33 MVA total capacity – for Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE).

In the State of Chihuahua, Abengoa México, S.A. de C.V. Will construct more that one hundred kilometers of transmission lines and a 230kv and a 115kv substation – 133.33 MVA total capacity – for Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE).

Total contract value is more than 22.7 million dollars $, and an average of 250 direct jobs will be created during the twelve-month execution period.

The contract was awarded following an international Invitation to Bid under the "Financed Public Work" modality that includes design, procurement, installation and commissioning of all equipment and systems, as well as project financing.

In addition, Abengoa México is currently executing the following projects in the electric energy sector:

  • 126 TLS 801 Altiplano (2nd phase): 37.8 kilometers of transmission lines and three substations, 400 and 115kv, and 225 MVA total capacity. Overall contract value is 25.3 million dollars $.
  • 101 SLT 702 Southeast Peninsular (2nd phase): more than 60 kilometers of power Overall contract value almost 1 million dollars $.
  • 101 SLT 1002 Northeast-Southeast Compensation and Transmission (1st phase): six 400kv substation, 1,150 MVA total capacity. Contract value 39.1 million dollars $.
